about

Košara Agricultural Estate

Situated on the island of Košara, located along the southwest coast of the island of Pašman in Zadar archipelago, our agricultural estate is currently taking shape across nearly 10 hectares of land. We are carefully preparing the land for future olive groves, vineyards, and aromatic herb gardens. Focusing on eco-friendly practices, over 1,500 olive trees are being planted for high-quality table olives and oil production. Next to the olive groves, two other core Mediterranean cultures will take root:  sustainable vineyards which will include local grape varieties, and Mediterranean garden with aromatic and medicinal herbs known for their natural benefits.

Košara Olives

By employing eco-friendly practices to produce high-quality olive oil and table olives, we continue the ancient Mediterranean legacy. In honour of Dalmatia’s rich agricultural heritage, we’ve selected native varieties — Oblica, Lastovka, Drobnica, and Levantinka — each known for their distinctive flavours and perfect adaptation to the local climate.

Košara Wines

Alongside and in perfect harmony with our olive groves, another iconic Mediterranean tradition is taking root – the vineyards.

From the native Babić and Plavina to the renowned Merlot, each grape tells a story of Dalmatia’s winemaking heritage and the island’s authentic charm.

Aromatic Herbs

At Košara Agricultural Estate, we are also in the process of planting a variety of aromatic and medicinal herbs like immortelle, lavender, sage, and rosemary. Known for their therapeutic and fragrant properties, these plants will transform into essential oils, soothing teas, and natural skincare products — inspired by the island’s rich natural heritage.
